There's rumors of a Metal Gear Solid remake?

I guess it was leaked recently, that some of the classic Metal Gear Solid games will get the remaster treatment. With the way Resident Evil has gotten more popular because of their remakes, maybe this will help Konami make a comeback with good remastered releases. But, I suspect they will be completely remade games. What do you guys think?

Yes there is going to be IP sellout and they may also be doing the external development. I assume Microsoft may get the franchise and things would slowly move from there. Considering the good track record of the Microsoft games I think it would work out just fine I assume.
