Will we see less games come out broken?

With the recent issues stemming from the release of Cyberpunk 2077, it got me thinking. Is this the final straw? Will ths mean we’ll stop seeing games released in broken states? I think we should make it where the game needs to be ready for release, and if it’s not by that time, then it should be re-evaluated, in the sense to see where the game is, and how much work is yet needed. And then set a new release date based on when you think it can all be sorted.

What do you guys think?

I completely agree with you. If the game is not ready for release and if you don’t have a stable version, then don’t release it. Broken games do nothing but disappoint fans and paint publishers and developers in a negative light. If the trend continues, it could have dire consequences on gamers and video game companies alike.

They should STOP releasing unfinished games!

absolutely agree with you.
