Do you play the standard or with mods?

Do you play the standard game without mods and texture packs, or do you add mods and texture packs? Currently I don't have anything additional installed, but since I got a new gaming PC the past month, I'm going to give some mods and texture packs a try.

What about you guys? Do you play minecraft without any mods/changes?

I currently play with just the standard version, but have been considering trying some mods and texture packs out. I never done any of that stuff with games before, but it sounds interesting. I hear you can make it look almost real.

I am just playing Minecraft Java with the Real Life Mode, and it is really hard to play.
What is Real Life Mode?
