This is pretty awesome news, even if you hate EA. It's also a good move on their part, as it makes them look good for a change. Anyway EA Play is coming to Gamepass, and it won't cost you anything extra. This is big, since EA Play itself costs a monthly fee. This will likely give Microsoft a slight edge in the start of the new generation of gaming. Plus with them doing backward compatibility all the way back to the original Xbox, it gives us a library to play with.
